Hi, my name is Alexandra Epple
I support and empower women to transition through menopause and midlife with ease and grace. I am also a seasoned bodyworker for men and women alike.
My approach to health is super practical and down to earth. I teach you how to dive deep into your body’s wisdom. There is no complicated hormone stuff, vitamin hunting or mineral counting. When it comes down to it, healing is very logical and pretty easy too. You just need to learn some principles. I am here to help you do that.
I am heavily trained in Ayurveda, Yoga and other Eastern medical traditions including Thai Massage and meditation. My goal is to educate you, so you are empowered to make healthy choices, find joy in your body and stay as vibrant in the second half of life as you were in the first. I am is also a seasoned bodyworker and yoga instructor and can accelerate your healing process through the power of touch and movement.
You are in the right place if you want to have a better body, up-level your health and make better food & lifestyle choices.
We dive deep into the way you feed yourself, not only in body, but mind and spirit as well.
“Today is the perfect day to start creating the body you love”
What got me into all this healing stuff?
One question people often ask me is “What got you into all this?”
Well, I was kind of a late bloomer. Throughout my 20s I was totally lost as to what I wanted to do with my life. I had obtained a dual degree in European Business Administration from universities in England and Germany. I was faced with two dreadful choices: either join the financing field shuffling money around or enter the marketing field and deceive people for the rest of my life. I was disenchanted, desperate and lost. I turned anorexic.
My quest to find my deep, inner calling brought me to America in 1999 with 2 suitcases, $2000 in my pocket and no work permit to speak of. Totally uprooting myself from the surroundings I grew up in, opened me up to explore things I would have never considered before.
I got really bold in pursuing what felt right to me.
It started with yoga and moved on from there. And I healed myself; the anorexia and the also the mental hang ups that were the cause of it. I am leaving out some big chunks, but you get the gist.
Over the years, I have spent months at a time in Asia, mostly Thailand and India, to pursue my studies of Yoga and Thai massage. Ayurveda and Astrology came later. Now I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner, seasoned yoga instructor, community health educator, body activist, health coach and Thai bodyworker…quite a mouth full, don’t you think and a far cry from being an office girl with a business degree.
I take a stand for mature women to step into their own badass body wisdom.
That is what healed me and got me on the path to creating my life rather than just living it. When you are deeply connected to your body you can create whatever you desire. It starts to just bubble out of you.
The Dalai Lama said: “The world will be saved by the western woman”. That is you. Yep, you. If you want to be one of those women, you need a healthy body. It is time to create it.
Together, we will up-level your habits and your health. You will feel deeply nourished by life.
