Are you stuck with the same old breakfast ideas?
Maybe you have been eating something simple like a piece of fruit during the summer but now that fall is rolling around that just isn’t enough anymore?
Or maybe you are a fan of breakfast cereal but you notice that this combo isn’t very nourishing to your tissues or mind?
Or maybe you throw some eggs in a pan and serve it with a piece of toast. You find that to be nourishing and tasty BUT it just doesn’t give you the lightness and clarity of mind you want?
it’s nourishing (good for the fall), filling (so you don’t go hungry) and has loads of prana (to give you clarity of mind). If you are used to a more SAD diet (Standard American Diet) it might take you a minute to get used to it. It’s worth it, though.
Guess what I made out of these ingredients:
3-4 Fresh figs.
1 -2 Tbsp Chia seeds (soaked in water).
Handful fresh peppermint leaves.
¼ tsp Cinnamon, turmeric, Himalayan salt to taste.
Chia Seeds promote endurance and strength. They are lubricating and mildly warming thus gently counteracting the cooler, dry Vata season. They are an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids.
What do you think I did with all these ingredients?
Tip: This is not a cooked dish.
